Visiting

We are having a great time visiting our son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter (Lindsay). When we arrived at their house, Lindsay greeted us with a big smile. She has a very quick smile and she is especially responsive to her dad and mom. We went for a walk across a nearby dam today which has a paved walkway on top of it for walkers and runners. It is a little over a mile across the dam. We took Lindsay in the stroller; it was a warm and delightful day. When we got back to their house I took a long nap. In other news, we got word last night that Eileen’s mother fell and broke her hip. She was able to drag herself to a phone and call for help. She had surgery this morning to have a rod inserted. Eileen spoke to her mother both last night and this evening. We pray for a fast and complete recovery.
